Molly Ringwald kitty?
During a conversation with my friend Chris the topic of how Izzy (my calico cat) would look if she was a person. I blurted out that she would have an afro as I've long thought she would. Which resulted in him demanding me to draw her.
The idea is she is the human (or cat girl really) and me the cat being dragged as she skips along. I know she would do this... she tries to trip me on the stairs as it is now.
The fashion thoughts - she is a girly girl cat with an attitude. I looked at some japanese harajuku clothing sites and then also some lolita clothing sites to come up with this design. Lots of references from google and lots of textures from deviantart. Illustrator hated me but I had fun with this for sure.
Please no critiques - been working on this off and on for the past 2 weeks. I am just going to have to let it be as it is because I kept tweaking it forever.
Please Note: This is PURE vector - all textures were converted to vector paths as well as any brushes.
